Library of Touch

The materials used to make these books all come out of Rebecca’s art practice; she has used them in sculptures and installations – although not as books.  Her work engages touch in several inter-related ways: conceptually, physically, experientially.  These works are “hand-made” and her intent is to bring some of the experience of making a sculpture and that of being able to touch a work of art to gallery visitors, while offering an invitation to feel, think, associate, remember about “touch”…
